    Antique Bone Parasol Needle Case w/ Stanhope
    Brighton Image * Circa 1900s
    This antique figural needle case is carved of bone* in the form of a parasol or umbrella. The handle is turned and holds a glass Stanhope viewer. The image is
    "A Souvenir of Brighton" and s
    hows 6 views, including the Grand Hotel, the Pavilion, the Chain Pier, the West Pier, the Aquarium and Aquarium Entrance. It was made in France for export to England.
    There are a couple of tiny chips that have been glued back in place. The condition is otherwise nice with no loss or other damage
    . It
    measures 4 3/8" long, screws together well and has some old steel needles. The Stanhope is clear and readable.
