    This is an Antique Sewing Roll Up For Embroidery Thread Yarns Red Brown Wool Hand Stitched.  It was hand stitched and hand embroidered using red challis wool and brown and white homespun windowpane check wool. The embroidery and stitching is impeccable. There is some linen yarn still tucked in the pockets. The long thin pockets would have been used to store embroidery floss. Each side of the roll up has a large pocket. Needles in small packets may have gone in the smaller pockets. There are some small sections with moth holes and a stain. When opened up, it measures 16 1/2 inch by 9 inches, and then can folded or rolled up.
