Needle book, "The Army and Navy Needle Book," early 20th century and likely pre WWI. Condition is VG+ I believe, having no folds, creases, or tears to the outer front and back, possibly a little darker discoloration to the lower right front. Corner blunting and edge wear are very minimal.. On the inside you see pouches for five sizes of needles, all empty unfortunately, but in very nice shape, even the one with the black flap covering half of the logo that I did not notice. Once the black flap is put back inside where it belongs the logo looks as good as any of the other four. There is one needle shown in the photo, on the right side page, this is as found. "Hardened In Oil" can be seen at the bottom of the left hand side when open, partially covered by the blade cases. The fold, or hinge, is solid, no tears at top or bottom.
