Rare Antique Figural Angel Silver Needle Case
French * Circa 1830
This solid silver needle case is in the form of an angel and is one I've never seen before. It is beautifully ornate with a variety of Baroque style scrolls and acanthus leaves.
It is stamped with the French rabbit head silver hallmark that was used in Paris for 800 silver (800/1000 pure) from 1819-1837.
The condition is excellent with no dents, splits or other damage. It closes snugly and measures almost 3 1/2" long.
